You're still inside the hall, and you can still see the other pairs, but you can neither hear them nor, for some reason, interpret their body language in any meaningful fashion, even if you're normally good at such things.

Two stones - or maybe peach pits? - lie on the floor in front of you. One has the number 1 on it; the other has 2. You get the impression that each of you should pick one.

If anyone had ever told you that death would be inert and silent, they must have been a fool. You find yourself hurtling through space and time, at the center of creation itself. Everything is darkness and light, matter and void, and you feel like your mind will implode if you have to stand this a moment longer...

Then, something settles over you, like a cloak; like cool water on a burn. You feel the void turn its gaze from you, and your soul being drawn away from the void.

...And you are standing in a forest, lush and overgrown, smelling like loam and leaves and the fresh sap of a snapped branch. Up above you, in the canopy, you can hear the sound of birds, and you may catch the lithe movement of a small animal out of the corner of your eye.

It's very nearly dark: just enough to see by, grey dawn only just beginning to filter through the leaves. You can't see colors very well, unless you have some kind of night vision, but somehow, this does not seem to make your surroundings any less vivid.

So vivid, in fact, that you might miss the wiry figure sitting propped against a tree, arms crossed over her chest. Until she speaks.

"There you are," she says.

Name(s) - Yeine dau she Kinneth tai wer Somem kanna Darre. Yeine, daughter of Kinneth of the Sonnem tribe within the Darre people. Also Yeine Darre, or Yeine Arameri. Just call her Yeine. She's also grown used to being called The Grey Lady, though that was originally Enefa's title.

Sphere - Energy

Age - Nineteen/twenty as a human, then a couple of centuries on top of that. Relatively new as gods go, really.

Physical Description - "I am not very interesting to look at. It might have been different if I had gotten the traits of my two peoples in a better combination. Amn height with Darre curves, perhaps, or thick straight Darre hair colored Amn-pale. I have Amn eyes: faded green in color, more unnerving than pretty. Otherwise I am short and flat and brown as forestwood, and my hair is a curled mess. Because I find it unmanageable otherwise, I wear it short. I am sometimes mistaken for a boy." - The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms.

Other - Yeine moves like someone who's physically fit and on the ball, but she doesn't go out of her way to be graceful. Unless she knows you well and likes you, she'll make a point of keeping a bubble of personal space. Her expression tends toward reserved, trying not to show what she is thinking, but if something gets to her emotionally, she becomes an open book.

Other gods and/or ghosts it applies to might notice that she is *immensely* more powerful at dawn and dusk than at any other time of day.

Patronage - Yeine is likely to patron along thematic ping lines. Said thematic pings include family, ruthlessness, revenge and freedom. If any or all of these are particularly relevant to a ghost, they'd probably make a good match for her. Some characters I can see her patroning in particular include Katniss Everdeen (The Hunger Games,) Ciel Phantomhive (Kuroshitsuji) and Emiya Kiritsugu (Fate/Zero.)

Additionally, the best proteges for her are ones she can respect as capable and driven. She's not hugely cuddly or sensitive, and she won't go out of her way to motivate someone she perceives as inert or passive, but if her protege, who is normally the active sort, hits a rough patch, she will be there for them, absolutely.

She has a soft spot for children - especially mischievous trickster children - as well as chaos gods and their ilk.

Permissions -
She's a god, she can take whatever you throw at her. On the flip side, check out her thematic pings! This is not a woman who will let things slide, though at least her vengeance will be fair, rather than escalating.

And (other) gods help you if you fuck with her proteges or other close CR she forms!

On the death note, Yeine can revive, though there'll probably be hilarious side effects. Something along the lines of a temporary body swap, or memory transfer upon revival.

I really doubt mind control would work on her, at all.

Feel free to fourth-wall. There is a known concept of multiversality within her world. (Well, known to gods, at least...)
